The A8GT-J61BT13 CC-Link communication module manufactured by Mitsubishi is a smart device. It is designed specifically for use with CC-Link networks, and up to four (4) stations can be linked together, with each supporting changing point loads. At a single station, it allows full access to the READ AREA (R), partial access to the WRITE AREA (RW), and 32 points for RX and RY. This provides full access to the reading area, as well as 128 points for RX and RY in the case of four stations and 16 points for the RW write zone. Its cyclic transmission can be used to monitor the module, and data can be transferred between the graphic operator terminal (GOT) and the module. The GOT may write data to the RX and designated RWs in addition to reading from the RX/RY points (up to 2048 points) and the RW write/read points (up to 512 points). Besides, its transient transmission monitoring allows the master/local station to monitor all devices within the PLC CPU. The maximum range of the module is governed by the transmission speed chosen between 156kbps and 10Mbps. It comes with an 8-pin terminal block (M3.5 8 screws) for easy connections and is compatible with CC-Link dedicated cables. The GOT supplies the necessary 5 volts power-rated supply and has 0.25 amps-rated lower currents; it is compatible with a wide range of Mitsubishi GOT models. The A8GT-J61BT13 module measures 99 mm in height, 149 mm in width, and 34 mm in depth, offers a compact and lightweight design, and is easy to install and configure.
