The AS-B883-200 from Schneider Electric is classified as a thermocouple input module within the 800 Series range. It powers up within 13 seconds at maximum and requires a warm-up time that can take up to 2 minutes to stabilize fully. This module demands 5 V at 400 mA under normal operation, with additional voltage requirements of 4.3 V at 5 mA and -5 V at 0 mA.

Interacting with a PC is achieved via 3 output registers (4xxxx) and 3 input registers (3xxxx), ensuring a seamless integration into existing systems. Active communication status is reflected through visual indicators that light up when the connection to the PC is stable. Moreover, the module offers support for cold junction compensation (CJC) and maps its reference types as a 48-bit input or 3-register input. Output types are delivered in BIN/BCD format, facilitating straightforward reading and interpretation of data for industrial applications.
