PC-E984-485

The PC-E984-485, developed by Schneider Electric, functions as a robust programmable controller under the Modicon 984 series. This controller is fortified with 16K words of user RAM for program execution, in addition to 2K words allocated for data memory, enhancing its operational efficiency. It processes logic with a solve time of 3 milliseconds for every kiloword, which is crucial for timely control tasks in automation.

For managing inputs and outputs, this module supports a total of 2048 discrete I/O. It is capable of handling up to a maximum of 512 inputs and 512 outputs for each drop. The system can further expand, allowing up to 6 drops of I/O configurations and the option to utilize up to 2 remote racks for additional versatility in larger applications.

The PC-E984-485 is equipped with two communication ports: one for Modbus RTU and another for Modbus Plus, facilitating ease of integration into existing control networks.
