The device operates on a positive logic principle utilizing a sinking input format, which can be ideal for various control tasks. Each channel features an input resistance of 6700 ohms, resulting in a rapid switching response time noted as ≤ 2 milliseconds for transitions from off to on, and ≤ 3 milliseconds for the reverse. Furthermore, it can tolerate 30 V continuously and withstand transient pulses of up to 50 V, ensuring robustness in demanding environments.

Heat generation is minimal at 1.35 watts, increasing by 0.13 watts for each active input channel. With an electrical isolation rating of 500 Vrms, the module provides segment protection between channel groups. The current required from the bus is approximately 270 mA, reflecting its efficiency.
