TPCX571012

The TPCX571012, produced by Schneider Electric, acts as an advanced industrial coprocessor module suitable for demanding process automation environments. Its memory capacity is flexible, accommodating internal RAM from 96 KB to 2 MB, with the option to expand up to 7 MB through PCMCIA cards.

This module can connect a substantial number of discrete I/O channels, ranging from 512 to 2040, contingent on the chosen modular configuration. It can manage analog I/O channels as well, allowing from 24 to 512 channels depending on the module. The TPCX571012 employs various communication protocols, such as Modbus, Uni-Telway, and AS-Interface, allowing it to integrate seamlessly into diverse industrial frameworks.

On the networking front, it supports interfaces including Ethernet Modbus/TCP and EtherNet/IP, and can handle up to four networks through Modbus Plus. Additionally, the unit houses integrated ports such as RS-232/485, USB for programming tasks, and RJ45 for Ethernet connectivity. The Flipio bus manager is also included, connected via a SUB-D connector.

Designed with resilience in mind, the module boasts hot standby redundancy support, facilitating primary and secondary systems synchronization. Its power supply accommodates both 100–240 V AC (non-isolated) and 24–48 V DC (isolated), suitable for various rack configurations.

Operating within a temperature range of 0°C to 60°C and able to withstand storage temperatures as low as -25°C, this module ensures reliability under a variety of environmental conditions. The TPCX571012 can function effectively in relative humidity levels of 5% to 95% (non-condensing).

Furthermore, the rack configuration supports up to 16 racks, allowing for 4-, 6-, 8-, or 12-slot setups through Bus X connections. The process control capability of this module is versatile, enabling the configuration of loops of up to 30 channels, with each channel supporting three distinct loops.
