Schneider Electric Modicon

The Schneider Electric Modicon series comprises programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for industrial automation that offer solutions from small machines to large-scale process control. The series consists of Modicon M221, M241, M251, and M340 systems with different instruction processing speeds and 256 KB to 5 MB of memory capacity. Higher-end versions such as Modicon M580 support redundant controllers and provide Ethernet-based communication for real-time data exchange. The Modicon series includes a wide selection of I/Os, the modular ability for expansion, and a certain level of cyber security, giving utmost reliability and scalability to different industrial applications.
