The TSXETY4103 Ethernet TCP/IP module from Schneider Electric integrates seamlessly with the TSX Micro PLCs lineup. Weighing a light 0.34 kg, it is crafted to maximize functionality in automation tasks. This module's standard format is compatible with prominent software such as PL7 Pro and Unity Pro, broadening its usability. Current consumption is rated at 360 mA at a 5 V DC supply, with connections limited to a maximum of 64 concurrent sessions, ensuring ample communication capacity for diverse applications. The physical interface utilizes an RJ45 connector, supporting twisted pair configurations for both 10BASE-T and 100BASE-TX protocols. Adapting to the communication requirements, the achievable transmission rates are either 10 or 100 Mbit/s. The communication capabilities comprise protocols including Uni-Telway and Modbus TCP. It supports an impressive range of services, including bandwidth management, Modbus TCP messaging, SMTP e-mail notifications, and SNMP agent functionalities. The module’s local signaling includes four LEDs that indicate collision detection, Ethernet network status, port faults, and activity for transmission and reception. Power is facilitated via the rack's supply, ensuring a streamlined setup within existing systems. The web server is classified as transparent ready class B30, enhancing the module's web services, which include a rack viewer and data editing via PC terminal.
