Siemens Pressure Independent Control Series
The Siemens Pressure Independent Control Series is a series of Pressure Independent Control Valves, or PICVs. These devices combine the functions of control valves, automatic differential pressure regulators, and adjustable flow limiters into a single device. The Pressure Independent Control Series valves can be ANSI Class 125 or Class 250 valves. Many models have 2-way cast iron bodies that support linear flow with chilled water, hot water, and water/glycol solutions. These valves can operate in HVAC systems as control valves, or in closed-loop applications with hot or chilled water. Pressure Independent Control Series valves are available with line sizes from 2.5 to 8 inches.
