Siemens Vacu-Break

The Vacu Break series from Siemens is a line of fusible panelboard and switchboard switches featuring the Vacu Break clampmatic design with double break action for reliable arc control. The series includes branch and main switches rated from about 30 A up to 1200 A in sizes of 12 inch, 17 inch and 21 inch panels, in both 240 V and 600 V AC systems. The Series A variants (400 A and 600 A) offer compact fusible single unit disconnect switches with visible blade designs and high horsepower capacities. These switches are used in industrial power distribution systems, motor control centers, heavy machinery protection, and in switchboards where reliable overload and short circuit protection is essential.
