Yaskawa MV1000

The MV1000 Series from Yaskawa is a line of medium voltage AC drives ranging from roughly 2.3 kV up to 11 kV and covering power ratings up to around 16,000 HP. These drives feature Smart Harmonics™ technology, enhanced cascaded H bridge output stages (9 or 17 level waveforms), and provide open loop or closed loop vector control for precise motor operation. The MV1000 units are used in systems like pumps, compressors, fans, conveyors, extruders, and heavy duty industrial motors, especially where retrofit or new installation demands high reliability and reduced harmonic distortion.
