The MV1000 Series from Yaskawa is a line of medium voltage AC drives ranging from roughly 2.3 kV up to 11 kV and covering power ratings up to around 16,000 HP. These drives feature Smart Harmonics™ technology, enhanced cascaded H bridge output stages (9 or 17 level waveforms), and provide open loop or closed loop vector control for precise motor operation.
