About 1336 FORCE Drives

Allen-Bradley manufactures a wide variety of variable frequency drives (VFDs) in different series, and the 1336 FORCE Drive series is a series of VFDs. The VFDs are also known as adjustable frequency AC drives. These drives are mostly used for the control and regulation of torque and speed in a machine. The input voltage of the drives in this series ranges from 200 to 240 Volts AC, 380 to 480 Volts AC, or 575 Volts AC and the output voltage ranges from 0 to the input voltage. The rated power output of these drive ranges from 1 to 3 Horsepower, 7.5 to 30 Horsepower, 40 to 60 Horsepower, 75 to 125 Horsepower, 150 to 250 Horsepower, 300 to 500 Horsepower, 600 to 650 Horsepower, or 700 to 800 Horsepower. The 1336 FORCE Drive series is a microprocessor-controlled AC drive series. It is a digital drive series and it offers many different features. It supports 4 quadrant operations easily. The drives in the series feature simplified programming by using a parameter table that provides easier data entry to enter the engineering units. The 1336 series drives feature extensive diagnostic options with both logic boards and power sources. These features run throughout the entire operation process and they relay the running information of the drives.

The 1336 FORCE drives use a time-stamped non-volatile fault warning queue to alert the operators for different system events. The drives feature a real-time clock and reference time stamps are available in the drive. The 1336 FORCE drives are manufactured with enclosed constructions and they can be used in extreme and harsh environments. The drives in this series feature different types of encoder feedback options. They come with incremental and dual-channel encoders. The drives provide speed regulation by using the feedback devices. The 1336 series provides torque regulation up to +/-5% of the rated motor torque. The current limit of these drives can be programmed from 200% of the rated output current.
