About PowerFlex 700S

The PowerFlex 700S control module series is a high-performance AC adjustable frequency drive series manufactured by Allen-Bradley. Adjustable frequency drives are used in modern industrial automation systems to control and regulate the speed and torque of 3-phase induction motors. The 700S series drives are available in a wide variety of options. They are available with different voltage ratings, frequency ratings, enclosure types, brake resistor options, control options, and other additional configurations. The PowerFlex 700S series drives is available with different communication options. They come with DPI and DriveLogix (ControlNet, DeviceNet, Ethernet/IP, and RS-483) communication slots. The drive is available with both IGBT braking and non-braking options. The 700S drives are available with human-machine interface modules on the front of the drive. The interfaces are also available as digital LCDs, full numeric LCDs, programmer-only LCDs, and as full numeric LCDs with door mounting options. They are also available with different emission filter options, including the CE filter and the CM choke options.

The PowerFlex 700S series drives are also available with different feedback options. They come with resolver feedback, Stegmann hi-resolution encoder feedback, and multi-device interface feedback.
