About HPK Servo Motors

The HPK Servo Motors are high-powered asynchronous motors which are used for positioning applications. These motors are cost-effective and they offer robust performance and reliability in demanding applications. These motors feature windings that are optimized for servo control couples with high-resolution feedback to provide precision application requirements. They are also available with optional multi-turn absolute feedback. The motor winding in these devices provides constant torque over a wide speed range. The HPK Servo Motors offer low rotor inertia for higher acceleration rates. They also support a continuous torque of 96 to 955 N-m to support every type of application demand. They are available with a base speed of 1500 and 3000 RPM. These motors can be integrated with the Allen-Bradley Kinetix 7000 servo drive. The HPL series motors use the standard IEC or foot mount for mounting the motor in different locations. The HPK Servo Motors are CE, CSA, and UL marked.

The HPK Servo Motors offer different functions. They come with integral blower cooling which helps to achieve higher performance in a small package. The motors in this series are available in different frame sizes, speed ratings, and braking options. The manufacturer offers different blower/junction box locations, including top-mounted blower known as F1, F2, and the inline blower known as F3. The HPK Servo Motors use smart motor technology for the correct identification of the proper to motor drive connectivity while reducing the commissioning time. These drives are rated for 200% of the service factor. These motors are equipped with shaft seals, automatic T-drains, corrosion-resistant hardware, and gasketed junctions for protection against different hazardous conditions. These motors are widely used in high-power packaging, material handling, injection molding, and metal forming.
