About 6189 CE Logic Modules
The 6189 CE Logic Modules series is a Versaview logic module series from Allen-Bradley. These controllers are smart controllers and they are widely used in industrial automation applications. These modules are manufactured in a compact size and they can fit even in small spaces. These logic modules support Active X control. The modules can be easily integrated with the Microsoft Internet Explorer and Microsoft Office Viewer interfaces. The modules support remote connectivity by using the VNC and FTP networks. This helps the backup restoration function. The 6189 CE Logic Modules come with internal flash memory in different capacities between 32 MB and 256 MB. The logic modules are also available with different RAM capacities. They are available with 64 MB, 256 MB, and 128 MB of RAM. The logic modules support both AC and DC input in the range of 100 to 240 Volts AC and they support 24 Volts DC voltage.
The 6189 CE Logic Modules support the DataStore plus logging feature which helps to reduce the 300,000 data point limit. The logic modules are equipped with different status indicators to show status updates during the operation processes. They support both AC and DC power. The boards of the logic controllers are equipped with Ethernet ports for internal networking and connectivity. For other addon connections, the logic controllers are equipped with a serial port, 2 USB ports, and a CompactFlash card slot (for memory expansion).
