About Versaview CE Displays
The Versaview CE Display series is an Allen-Bradley display module series. These display modules are available in different screen sizes. The display modules are available with 7-inch, 10-inch, 12.5 inch, and 15-inch screen sizes. The panels have a great brightness level of 300 Nits. The screens have replaceable backlights with a rated lifetime of 50,000 hours. The screens can be clearly read under bright lights. For input, the modules are available with touchscreens and keypads for input. These displays can be controlled by using the PanelView operator interfaces and the Windows CE operating system. The Versaview CE displays are mainly used as standalone machine level human-machine interface modules. The modules share information between the Logix system and the terminals. The displays are supported by the FactoryTalk SE software. The Versaview series modules are equipped with DeviceNet and ControlNet network support for internal communication and the DH-485 ports as remote input/output communication modules. Also, these terminals are equipped with RS-232 ports and Ethernet ports. The Versaview CE displays are certified with the UL, CE, and C-UL standards.
The front side of the Versaview CE displays is equipped with keypads that contain different keys including the alpha-numeric, navigational, and functional keys. These display panels have an operating temperature range between 0 and 50 degrees Celsius. The CE display modules have multilingual support and they support up to 7 different languages. The Versaview CE Series displays are equipped with RJ 45 ports for Ethernet and networking connections. Two USB ports are also available in the display modules. All the CE display modules are manufactured for indoor use only. Additional enclosures with IP 65 or IP 54 protection ratings are needed for the modules to be used safely in outdoor locations.
