About Panelview Plus 1500

Manufactured by Allen-Bradley, the PV Plus 1500 terminal series is a PanelView series of human-machine interface terminals.  The 15-inch display terminals come with the keypad and touchscreen input options. The PV Plus 1500 terminals support graphic color-display modules, and they come with analog-resistive touchscreens when they have a touchscreen. These units feature the EtherNet and Serial communication ports, with modular communication interfaces for ensuring an easy add-on capability. The Allen-Bradley PV Plus 1500 terminals coms with the memory expansion modules for providing a user field upgrade of up to 256 MB of RAM and they also support the 512 MB compact flash memory. The PV Plus 1500 terminals support CompactFlash card slots that support the Type 1 CompactFlash cards.

The PV Plus 1500 terminals use USB ports to provide support for external devices that include a keyboard, a mouse, or a printer. The PV Plus 1500 terminals come with similar panel cutouts to the ones that the PanelView Standard terminals and the PanelView enhanced terminals have. The PV Plus 1500 terminals use the network interface that can be attached to the base-configured units of the terminals. This increases the communication capabilities of the terminals with the DH+ or the DH-485 networks and the ControlNet networks. The communication modules can be installed easily on the top of the logic modules or at the back of the terminals. The PV Plus 1500 PanelView terminal series provides application flexibility and the terminals come with up to 3 available power options. The supported power options include AC power, unisolated DC power, and isolated DC power. The PV 1500 series terminals provide an integral antiglare overlay with all displays built to support common features for ensuring easy device integration.
