Allen Bradley 1336 PLUS Drives

The Allen-Bradley 1336 PLUS drives are a family of microprocessor-based AC drives with sensorless vector control that are designed to provide control for 3-phase motors in critical applications where accurate torque and speed control is necessary. The 1336 PLUS drive series offers easy-to-use and cost-effective motor control solutions to applications with even the tightest speed requirements, and they come with built-in protection features that help to improve performance and save maintenance costs caused by unscheduled downtimes. The 1336 PLUS drives have A1, A2, A3, A4, B1/B2, C, D, E, G, and G frames with input ratings from 200 to 600 Volts AC and 0.37 to 448 kilowatts (0.5 to 600 Horsepower). All 1336 PLUS drives have both variable and constant torque capability, and each drive is sized to 115% of the full load Amps for variable torque applications, and 150% of the full load Amps for constant torque applications.

The 1336 PLUS drives employ the Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) control with programmable carrier frequencies from 2 to 10 KiloHertz. Depending on the application type, the operators can choose between the standard Volts per Hertz control method, which offers customizable Volts per Hertz curve and it is suitable for centrifugal and HVAC applications, and the sensorless vector control (SVC), which provides tighter speed control even under varying loads, higher starting torque, and lower speed operation than other control methods. The 1336 PLUS drives offer easy-to-use human-machine interface module options, communication options (single-point remote I/O, RS-232/422, DF1, DH-485, and DeviceNet networks), and the control interface card option with or without an encoder interface. This drive series features easy-to-read display interface options that support multiple languages for easy configuration, diagnostics, and troubleshooting processes. The 1336 PLUS drive series features drives with IP 00 (Open), IP 20, IP 54, and IP 65 enclosures, and they have a non-derating operating temperature range of 0 to 40 degrees Celsius.
