Allen Bradley 1336

Allen Bradley 1336 series adjustable frequency AC drives are microprocessor-based drives that control 3-phase induction motors. Some 1336 drives operate at 380/415/460V AC 3-phase input voltage, and some operate at 500 or 575V AC 3-phase input voltage. The 1336 drives are available with different enclosure ratings, including IP00, IP20, IP54, and IP65-rated enclosures. These drives can be programmed through local control panels, remote control panels, or optional programming devices connected to their serial ports.

About 1336

Designed and engineered by Allen-Bradley, the 1336 series is a series of adjustable frequency AC drives. The drives classified under the 1336 series feature handheld programming terminal. The 1336 drives are defined as microprocessor-controlled and high-performance units designed to control 3-phase industrial applications. The 1336 drives’ output voltage is calculated as a function of the output frequency and it is adjustable to ensure that it matches the motor parameters. Before installing a 1336 drive, ensure that a proper inspection of the unit has been carried out upon receiving it. Check for any damages that may have occurred during shipping, and make sure that the unit is not mishandled. If the unit is not going to be installed and programmed for use immediately, make sure that the storage conditions are ideal.

Therefore, ensure the storage area of the 1336 drive is clean and dry and that the ambient storage temperature is -40 degrees Celsius minimum and 85 degrees Celsius maximum. In addition, ensure that the storage area of the device is a non-corrosive environment to prevent any damage. While handling the unit, ensure that the proper handling guidelines are followed. The installation of Allen-Bradley 1336 AC drives requires proper skills and qualifications. Therefore, make sure that only authorized technicians are allowed to install or service the unit. To ascertain that there is no electrostatic damage, all the static control precautions should be adhered to. If users are not familiar with the ESD controls, qualified technicians should install the drives. The 1336 drives’ standard control features include constant torque, adjustable speed control, and overload capabilities that are adaptable through programming to handle a wide variety of applications.
