The 160-BA01NSF1 is a Signal follower model drive that is part of the Bulleting 160 Smart Speed Controller (SSC) series of Allen-Bradley. This Variable Speed Drive (VSD) is manufactured by Allen-Bradley, mainly used for implementing modulating speed control of industrial AC motors. The 160-BA01NSF1 is designed to be applied with 3-Phase 380-460 VAC input voltage, 50/60 Hz input frequency, the input power of 1100 VA and input current of 1.4 Amperes. It delivers an output voltage of 380-460 VAC, 3-Phase, an output current of 1.2 Amperes, and an output frequency of 0-240 Hz which is fully programable. This drive comes with an IP20, NEMA Open enclosure and mounting to a 35 mm standard DIN rail or via panel mounting through the provided mounting screw holes in a vertical orientation. Being an analog signal follower drive, the 160-BA01NSF1 can implement true modulating speed control to the connected AC motor. An external analog signal can be wired to the analog control inputs of this drive such as a 1K to 10K Ohms, 2 Watts minimum potentiometer, a 4-20 mA analog current input, and -10 to +10 VDC analog voltage input terminals. This drive also comes with a single programmable discrete input and Start, Stop, Fwd/Rev fixed input terminals. Furthermore, the available discrete control output to this drive is a Form C relay contact output which can be used as operating status feedback. The 160-BA01NSF1 can also function as a motor soft-starter as it is also capable of implementing a variety of stopping modes particularly Ramp to Stop with a configurable time of 0.1 to 600 Seconds; Coast to Stop with which Stops All PWM Output; DC Injection Braking which applies DC Voltage to the Motor for a configurable duration of 0 to 25 Seconds and DC Injection Braking with Auto Stop.
