The 160-BA10NSF1 is an Allen-Bradley Variable Speed Drive (VSD) that belongs to the bulletin 160 SSC series. This drive series is available in Series A-C where series A drives support RS232 and DeviceNet communication module as optional communication interface while Series C drives come with integrated RS232 port and maintain support for insertion of additional DeviceNet communication module. The 160-BA10NSF1 is primarily used to implement speed control of industrial AC motors. It delivers a variable frequency and pulse modulated output, capable of Volts per Hertz (V/Hz) control method. It comes with built-in I/O terminals which are composed of discrete inputs including dry contact, start / stop / forward / reverse, and programmable inputs; form C relay contact output; 4-20 mA / -10 VDC to +10 VDC analog inputs and 1K - 10K ohms potentiometer input. Through these I/O terminals, external signaling devices can be wired to allow remote operation and integration to higher-level controllers such as programmable logic/automation controllers (PLC / PAC). The 160-BA10NSF1 comes with internal motor protection features including overload, overcurrent, overtemperature, overvoltage, and undervoltage features. It is also capable of detecting ground short and output circuit shorting. This drive can also perform soft-starting features as it comes with programmable acceleration and deceleration times, each adjustable from 0.1 to 600 seconds. It also supports S-Curve acceleration and deceleration times which can be configured as 0-100% of acceleration and deceleration settings, not to exceed 60 seconds. It also has programmable stopping modes specifically, ramp to stop, coast to stop, DC injection braking, and DC injection braking with auto-stop.

The Allen-Bradley 160-BA10NSF1 is a variable speed controller belonging to the Allen-Bradley 160 SSC product range (Series C). The 160-BA10NSF1 has input voltage rating of 380 / 460V AC (three-phase, 50/60 Hz). Operational voltage range is 340 - 506VAC and the maximum input current is 12.2A.
