The C Frame with a conformal coating houses the internal parts of the drive. The drive supports an enclosure type that is flange-mounted. The front chassis of the enclosure is the NEMA/UL Type 1 with an IP20 rating. The front chassis is not waterproof. The rear heatsink of the enclosure is a NEMA/UL Type 4X/12 enclosure and comes with an IP66 rating. The rating indicates that the drive is water-resistant and it can be used for both indoor/outdoor purposes.
