The 20AC8P7A1AYNADNN is an Allen-Bradley AC drive with variable frequency. Allen-Bradley is the manufacturer of this drive. The drive is housed inside a Frame B body with a conformal coating. The drive can be installed in different locations by using the panel-mounted enclosure with an IP20 rating. Since the enclosure is not waterproof, the drive can only be mounted in indoor locations. The enclosure of the drive is the NEMA/UL Type 1 enclosure. The front part of the drive has a blank cover and no interface module is present. The 20AC8P7A1AYNADNN has a power output of 5 Horsepower. It is powered using a 400 Volts AC supply from a 3-phase source. The current rating for this AC drive is 8.7 Amps. No feedback mechanism is present in this drive and a safe torque-off feature is also missing in this AC drive.  Different certifications are present with this AC drive. It comes with the ABS, RCM, EAC, and the CE certifications.

The 20AC8P7A1AYNADNN drive has EMC capabilities under the IEEE guidelines. The drive uses the DriveNet adapter for communication purposes. All the communication process and activities can be monitored from the LED indicator on the front panel of the drive. The drive has advanced bus regulation and drive overload protection. It helps to elongate the life of the drive. This AC drive can be integrated with other PowerFlex AC drives using the Logix Control platform for simplifying parameter and tag programming which in turn reduces the development time. The 20AC8P7A1AYNADNN is a compact solution. The power option in the drive includes a circuit breaker, fused disconnect, a bypass, and input fuses. During the installation of the drive, a motor cable as short as possible should be used to avoid electromagnetic emissions and capacitive currents. Line filters should not be used in ungrounded systems.
