The Allen-Bradley 20AD014A3AYNACNN PowerFlex 70 is state-of-the-art AC drive that gives many answers to industrial infrastructures and it is ready to meet rigorous motor control demands. This inverter was developed to provide a solution to applications ranging from the simplest to the most complex cases. It has a ControlNet network adapter, enhanced control, and a wide range of useful functions. The 20AD014A3AYNACNN shows excellent static and dynamic response to torque change on the motor’s shaft. Over its integrated LCD display and numeric keypad users can easily install, configure, and put to operation this drive in only 10 minutes. The Allen-Bradley 20AD014A3AYNACNN 3-phase drive comes with a power rating of 7.5 kW (10 Horsepower), a voltage of 480 Volts AC (50 to 60 Hertz), and an output of 14 Amps.  It has a CE compliant filter, IGBT brake, and 4 LED indicators that provide drive status information. During the production of the drive, all low-voltage and EMC directives have been followed. Users must be careful when using output contactors with this drive system. Contactors can be installed between the drive and three-phase motors for disconnecting purposes, but in this situation, it is advised to wire an auxiliary contact from the contactor to the drive’s digital input configured as “enable”. This is to stop the drive when the motor is disconnected. If this is not applied, the drive will continue to form voltage at the output terminals, and if the motor is reconnected to thus active drive, excessive currents can occur and make fault situation to the drive.
