The Allen-Bradley 20AD022A3AYYADNN PowerFlex 70 AC drive belongs to the 480 Volts AC (3-phase) Frame D drive family and it is designed to provide accurate torque and speed control in motion control applications. The 20AD022A3AYYADNN drive has a standard IP 20 (NEMA Type 1) enclosure that supports panel mounting on both the outside and inside of the drive cabinet, and it has a 0 to 50 degrees Celsius operating ambient temperature range within the cabinet. The 20AD022A3AYYADNN drive comes with a complete LCD human-machine interface module with functional and numeric keys, an easy-to-read 7-line by 21-character screen, and multi-lingual text for easy startup, control, configuration, metering, and trouble-shooting. The 20AD022A3AYYADNN drive also comes with an internal DeviceNet communication interface for the efficient control and exchange of information with a host controller.

The 20AD022A3AYYADNN drive offers a 6-pulse (3-phase) input type with a 480 Volts AC input voltage rating at 47 to 63 Hertz and with an input range of +/-10% of the rated input. This drive has an input current rating of 22 Amps and a total power output of 11 kilowatts (15 Horsepower). The 20AD022A3AYYADNN drive has an internal EMC line filter option which protects against EMI, and it also comes with the integral dynamic braking transistor and the optional dynamic braking resistor for dissipating excess regenerative energy and preventing overvoltage faults. The 20AD022A3AYYADNN drive comes with built-in protection against voltage and current issues, line transients of up to 6000 Volts, ground fault and short-circuit trips, and trips from intermittent power losses. The 20AD022A3AYYADNN drive comes with standard control options like the Sensorless Vector Control (SVC) and the Volts per Hertz motor control options, and it offers adjustable 3-phase output for motor speed control.
