Allen Bradley SMC-50

The SMC-50 series is a series of Allen-Bradley solid-state soft starters. The SMC-50 series features soft starters with a current range from 108 Amps to 480 Amps, with the internal bypass power structures. The SMC-50 starters feature advanced application monitoring and provide advanced protection functionalities. The soft starters classified under the SMC-50 series are designed to provide superior communication capabilities, and they come with energy saver modes. The energy saver mode is helpful for ensuring increased efficiency with minimal downtime. The SMC-50 starters come with a rated motor voltage of 200 to 690 Volts AC and with a 50 to 60 Hertz frequency.  The Allen-Bradley motor control drives feature 17 start and stop modes, with 4 special operating modes. The units also feature 3 hardware expansion ports and they are built to provide the users with built-in electronic motor overload protection.

The Allen-Bradley SMC-50 soft starters feature optional communication modules that come with the ability to support multiple networks. The Allen-Bradley soft starters classified under the SMC-50 series feature optional parameter configuration modules, and they are designed with built-in human-machine interfaces with options for PC-based software that is used for application programming and monitoring. The SMC-50 starters incorporate solid-state designs and they are built to provide advanced monitoring and protection capabilities. The units deliver application scalability and they come with normal and heavy-duty ratings.
