The 2098-DSD-010-DN Ultra 3000 Digital Servo Drive with DeviceNet by Allen-Bradley is a single-phase AC servo drive with DeviceNet capability used for the control of industrial servo motors. It has an input rating of 9A (with 100A current surge) and 100-240V AC (single phase) at 47-63Hz and an output rating of 15A (intermittent). The drive has a maximum output power of 1kW at 230V AC with 51 Joules maximum energy absorption capability and a BUS capacitance of 1880μF (capacitance). It provides 400V DC BUS overvoltage protection and is fused with Class CC and Class J 230V AC Bussman fuse. The 2098-DSD-010-DN provides motion control through the digital proportional–integral–derivative (PID) with 250μs maximum update time and provides positioning through the Digital PID with feed-forward control ability. When operational, the 2098-DSD-010-DN dissipates 48W heat and is designed to operate at a temperature range between 0° C and 55° C (32° F and 131° F) at 5-95% relative humidity environment. The 2098-DSD-010-DN has 8 active high and current sinking digital inputs which are optically-isolated with 4 current sourcing outputs with a 30V DC (max) and 1A (max) Normally-Open relay output. The 2098-DSD-010-DN communicates through the base RS-232/RS-422/RS-485 serial port using the CN3, 9-pin Female D-Sub serial port connector and it supports the DeviceNet communication interface with selectable 125, 250, and 500 kb per second and with auto-baud baud rates and 00-63 node addresses. It is built to retain optimal function at a shock of 15G and a vibration of 2.5G. The 2098-DSD-010-DN weighs 2.1Kg (4.6lbs) and it has a total volume of 98.1mm x 32.77mm x 65.02mm.
