2098-DSD-HV100-SE

The 2098-DSD-HV100-SE is a Ultra 3000 Servo Drive module. This Servo drive module is equipped with Serial Real-Time Communication Systems (SERCOS) interface, through the dual SERCOS port that utilize Fiber optic cable connection. This enables this drive to directly communication with Programmable Automation Controllers (PAC) that is installed with SERCOS module. Additionally, this servo motor may be coupled to MP-Series, 1326AB, F-, H-, N-, and Y-Series servo motors.

Aside from the SERCOS interface, this drive meets the standard capability of an Ultra 3000 drive. For advanced integration, this drive supports the premiere integration option. This integration option allows Servo drive parameters to be integrated as instruction and become embedded to the user program and included to the scan cycle of the controller. This method allows drive parameters to be changed dynamically, depending on the pre-defined conditions and values set to the program. This minimizes the need of operator intervention to modify drive settings.

The 2098-DSD-HV100-SE output characteristics include an output current of 23 A and with continuous output power of 2.5 kW at 230VAC input and 5.0 kW at 460VAC input.

This drive comes with front panel terminals labelled as TB1, TB2 and CN1. TB1 is a 11-point terminal strip that accommodates motor connection, incoming power supply, Auxiliary power connection, DC output terminals and earthing terminal. TB2 is designated for external passive shunt connections while CN1 is assigned for Normally Open (N.O.) relay output.

There are two SERCOS fiber-optic cables in this module. The 2098-DSD-HV100-SE has an input voltage (AC) of 230-480V AC root means square (three-phase). The input frequency (AC) of this module is 47-63 Hertz. The nominal input current (AC) of this module is 14A root means square. The weight of this module is around 10.44 kg (22.96 lbs). The 2098-DSD-HV100-SE is intended for use in industrial environments. This module is used in an environment with a pollution rating no higher than Pollution 2 (as defined in EN / IEC0664-1) when applied in a Zone 2 environment. This module has an Autobaud that allows the drive to determine the network data rate. This module also supports Automatic Device Replacement (ADR). This module contains a set of parameters used to configure and monitor drives. This module can configure by changing the values associated with individual parameters. The Bus capacitance of this module is 705 µF. The internal shunt resistance of this module is 40 ohms. The SERCOS Communication rates of this module are 4 and 8 Mbps. The node addresses are from 01 to 99. Please verify that no power is applied to the SERCOS fiber-optic drive and that the cables plugged properly into the Tx and Rx connectors.
