H Series

Allen Bradley H Series

The H Series is a servo motor series manufactured by Allen-Bradley. These motors are manufactured in different sizes and configurations to match the application demands in different industries. These servo motors are solid-state devices and they are manufactured in compact packages. They offer robust performance and they are highly reliable. The H Series servo motors are low-inertia brushless servo motor series from Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation. They come with different speed ratings and power ratings. Also, they have variations in the continuous stall torque ratings for different motor variants. These servo motors are available in 5 different frame sizes. The motors are available in 2 factory-designated mounting options which are the standard flange and the NEMA mounting types. Both braking and non-braking versions are available in the H Series. These motors are available with standard braking and 24 Volts DC holding brakes.

The H Series motors are equipped with feedback encoders. Both multi-turn and single-turn high-resolution encoders are available as part of the Allen Bradley H Series. The encoders also vary in the available line count ratings. This series can run only in a temperature range between 0 and 40 degrees Celsius. Also, the installation areas should be relatively humid with 5 to 95% non-condensing relative humidity. The H Series servo motors are available with the option to add an additional shaft seal. The seal is IP 65 rated and it provides extra protection to the motors. The motors are capable of operating with sustained maximum radial or maximum axial shaft loads. The H Series servo motors are equipped with neodymium iron boron magnets which provide low inertia for high acceleration. The H Series servo motors are widely used in smart conveyors, packaging machinery, material feeding, and heavy-duty cycle applications.
