Allen Bradley MPF Servo Motors

MPF Servo Motors are Allen-Bradley MP Series food grade servo motors that are optimized to meet the requirements of food and beverage applications ranging from raw food handling to processing and packaging. These motors are available in 100 to 165-millimeter frames with performance ratings of 550 to 6000 revolutions per minute, 0.73 to 4.1 kilowatts of output power, 1.6 to 19.4 N-m of continuous stall torque, and 3.61 to 48.46 N-m of peak stall torque.  Both the 200 Volts and 400 Volts models of the MPF Servo Motors feature segmented stator technology and they offer exceptional torque performance. The MPF Servo Motors are available with 24 Volts DC spring-set holding brakes as well as multi-turn and single-turn high-resolution encoders for absolute position feedback. They provide low rotor inertia. The enclosure options for motors in this series include IP 66 and IP 67 rated enclosures with food-grade epoxy coatings. These motors feature non-corrosive shafts with shaft-end threaded holes, shaft keys, a shaft seal, and non-corrosive fasteners.

The Allen-Bradley MPF Servo Motors have a brushless design with configurable winding options and they are compatible with the Allen-Bradley Kinetix 2000, 300/350, 5000, 5700, 6000, 6200, and 6500 servo drive families. The windings of the MPF Servo Motors are fully encapsulated to keep moisture out and improve each motor’s thermal efficiency. The SpeedTec-ready DIN connectors of these motors are environmentally sealed, 180 degrees rotatable, and they offer improved shock resistance. All the MPF motors are also compatible with applications that require shaft couplings or pulleys for mechanically connecting the motor to a machine. They can be mounted horizontally or vertically.
