The Allen-Bradley MPL-A4540F-SK74AA MPL series servo motor is a low-inertia, high-output permanent AC rotary servo motor. It is a brushless AC synchronous servo motor that was designed for compactness and versatility. The MPL-A4540F-SK74AA servo motor, like the other MPL series family motors, has a small frame size but it generates a lot of torque for its size. This servo motor has a frame size of only 130 millimeters but it provides a continuous stall torque level of 10.2 N-m and a peak stall torque level of 27.1 N-m. The MPL-A4540F-SK74AA servo motor has a voltage rating of 230 Volts and a rated rotor speed of 3000 RPM. In comparison to legacy servo motor models, the advanced winding technology on this MPL series low-inertia servo motor can generate up to 40 percent more torque per unit size. The magnet stack on the MPL-A4540F-SK74AA servo motor is 4 inches long. This low-inertia servo motor also comes with an integrated brake option with a supply voltage rating of 24 Volts DC.

The Allen-Bradley MPL-A4540F-SK74AA MPL series servo motor comes equipped with a single-turn encoder that provides high-resolution absolute feedback with the Hiperface protocol. This 230 Volts-rated servo motor has a rated output power of 2.6 kilowatts and its brake rotor inertia rating is 0.00056 kilograms per square meters. Its brake rotor weighs approximately 11 kilograms. The MPL-A4540F-SK74AA servo motor comes with DIN connectors that are rotatable up to 180 degrees for easier cabling. These SpeedTEC DIN connectors, which are available in several of the low-inertia MP-series motors, comply with a number of international standards, including the UL, NFPA 79, and RoHS standards.
