The 1203-USB from Allen Bradley is designed to act as a communication converter. This module enables data exchange between computers and various Allen Bradley devices, ensuring that specific communication standards are met. Functionality includes support for DPI communication with PowerFlex 7 Class and PowerFlex 750 Series drives. Alongside this, DSI communication is compatible with PowerFlex 4 Class drives, Kinetix 3 drives, and PowerFlex 520 Series drives. This unit features a full-duplex RS-232 DF1 protocol option, which allows for simultaneous two-way communication. The autobaud functionality enhances flexibility, automatically adjusting to different baud rates as needed. It includes one port each for computer cable and drive cable connections. Three status indicators provide real-time feedback on the operational state of the device.
