1797-IE8NF

The 1797-IE8NF is an analog input module that features an integrated noise filter. This module has Eight (8) analog input channels, individually configurable for 0-20 mA and 4-20 mA analog current signals. This module has an IS input type of Ex ia IIB/IIC T4 AEx ia IIC T4 Class I, II, III Division 1 Group A-G T4 and IS module type Ex ib IIB/IIC T4 AEx ib IIC T4 Class I, II, III Division 1 Groups A-D T4.

The 1797-IE8NF has 16-bit resolution. It has accuracy of 0.1% of output signal range at 20 °C (68 °F and temperature drift of 0.05%/C of output signal range. The module’s functional data range is >15V @ 22 mA and >21.5V @ 0 mA.

The 1797-IE8NF is designed for installation in Class I Division 1 & 2, Groups A-D hazardous areas, North American Class I Zone 1 & 2, Groups IIC, IIB, & IIA hazardous areas, and European Zones 1, 2, and 22. Additionally, all Flex Ex modules, including the 1797-IE8NF is also approved for establishing connection to Field devices installed in Class I, II, or III, Groups A-G hazardous areas, Devices within Class II or III locations, Field instruments installed in North American Class I Zone 0, 1, & 2, Groups IIC, IIB, & IIA hazardous areas and Devices located in European Zones 0, 1, 2, 21, and 22 hazardous areas. The 1797-IE8NF has an power dissipation of 5.2 W, Thermal Dissipation of 17.75 BTU/hr and Module Field-side Power Consumption of 7.5 W.

The 1797-IE8NF is capable of indicating various fault conditions such as remote fault alarm and a local fault alarm.
