The Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation 1753-OB16 digital output module is designed for use with controllers from GuardPLC series. The 1753-OB16 module has 16 channels and it requires a 24 Volts DC of operating voltage. The module features an isolation voltage of 50 Volts continuous, a basic insulation type, and an I/O to Ethernet and Ethernet to DC power supply. The digital outputs of the module are not electrically isolated and they have an output voltage range of less or equal to L+ minus 2 Volts. The 1753-OB16 module should be placed in a location with good airflow and it should be positioned horizontally with at least a 100-millimeter (3.94-inch) gap above and below the module. For safety applications, the module can communicate with a GuardPLC controller through a GuardPLC Ethernet protocol.
