The Allen-Bradley 1762-0B32T is a MicroLogix controller compatible module. This module features Thirty-Two (32) solid-state output channels that delivers a nominal output voltage of 24VDC and output voltage range of 10.2-26.4 VDC. This module can be used to energize electrical loads as well as AC loads with interposing circuitry in between. Typical electrical loads wired to this module are Indicating lights, sounding devices, solenoid actuated devices and small DC motors.

The 1762-OB32T comes with individually isolated output groups. It has Two (2) output groups which is composed of Sixteen (16) channels per group. The module has an isolation rating of 1200V AC for 2 s or 1697V DC for 2 s. and 75V DC working voltage based on IEC Class 2 reinforced insulation. The module’s signal delay is identified at 0.5 ms turn On delay and 4.0 ms Turn-off delay for resistive loads. It has a maximum Off-state leakage current of 0.1 mA @ 26.4V DC and On-state voltage drop of 0.3V DC @ 0.5 A. The module’s maximum Continuous current per point is 0.5 A @ 60 °C (140 °F) while the maximum Continuous current per common is 2.0 A @ 60 °C (140 °F). The module’s maximum continuous output current per module is 4.0 A @ 60 °C (140 °F). The moduel’s surge current is rated at 2.0 A which is Repeatable every 2 s @ 60 °C (140 °F) for 10 ms). The module’s minimum load current is 1 mA.

The continuous current per point, common, and module are all different. At 60 degrees Celsius, those continuous currents are 0.5 Amps, 2 Amps, and 4 Amps. The maximum surge current of the 1762-0B32T is 2.0 Amps (repeatable every 2 s at 60 degrees Celsius (140 degrees Fahrenheit) for 10 milliseconds). The 1762-0B32T is designed to be used in a Pollution Degree 2 industrial environment at altitudes as high as 6562 feet without derating. The 1762-0B32T must be mounted in an enclosure designed to prevent injury. The enclosure must have flame-retardant properties to minimize the spread of fire, complying with a flame spread rating of 5VA, V2, V1, V0 (or equivalent) if non-metallic. The interior of the 1762-0B32T’s enclosure is accessible only by a tool.
