The Allen-Bradley 1747-ACNR15 provides remote control to 1746 I/O on a ControlNet network. The 1747-ACN15 is a version of Allen-Bradley’s ControlNet™ adapter modules. In general, the 1747-ACNR15 has similar specifications and features as the 1747-ACNR15. The Allen-Bradley 1747-ACNR15’s operating temperature is 32-140 °F while its storage temperature is -40-185 °F. The relative humidity range for both temperature ranges is 5-95% without condensation. The Allen-Bradley 1747-ACNR15 also complies with several standards including the NEMA standard ICS 2-230, the EN50081-2 Class A, the IEC1000-4-2, and the IEC1000-4-3 standard. The Allen-Bradley 1747-ACNR15 is also CSA-certified. This ControlNet adapter module runs on a maximum backplane current of 900 mA at 5V DC. Remember to add this amount to the other flow requirements for your I/O chassis. You can connect your 1747-ACN15 or -ACNR15 adapter module to the ControlNet network through 1 of the 4 available taps.

The 1747-ACNR15 is made up of 2 ControlNet connectors. This module also has ControlNet status indicators and module net address switch assemblies. The Allen-Bradley 1747-ACNR15 also comes with a high-speed data transfer feature and diagnostic messages. The Allen Bradley 1747-ACNR15 has a local communication network access that can connect to other devices through the network access port (NAP). One of the differences between the 1747-ACN15 and the 1747-ACNR15 adapter modules is that the 1747-ACNR15 has redundant media features. Use the 1786-CP cable to connect the programming terminal of the module to the network. It will connect via the NAPs.
