The 1747-AIC from Allen Bradley functions as an isolated link coupler, enabling SLC 500 devices to communicate within DH-485 networks. Designed with versatility in mind, this unit supports various peripherals, including the 1747-DTAM-E data table axis modules and the 1747-PIC personal interface converters.

With a removable 6-position terminal block, users can easily manage connections. The insulation between the communication cable and connected devices is rated at 1500V DC, ensuring electrical safety during operation. The coupler accommodates full-duplex and half-duplex DH-485 communication cables as well.

Ideal for various industrial environments, it operates effectively within a temperature range of 32 to 140 degrees Fahrenheit and can withstand storage temperatures as low as -40 degrees Fahrenheit and as high as 185 degrees Fahrenheit.
