The 1747-DTAM is a data table access module that is manufactured and designed by Allen-Bradley. This module allows users to perform operations such as modifying file information, modifying operating modes, transferring memory, and monitoring and clearing faults. This device is generally used on plant floors. The Allen-Bradley 1747-DTAM data table access module operates with an input line of 18 to 30 Volts DC and an input current of 104 milliamps maximum at a voltage of 24 Volts DC. It is recommended to maintain an operating temperature of 0 to 55 degrees Celsius and a humidity of 5 to 95% without condensation around the Allen-Bradley 1747-DTAM data table access module. It is really important to consider the previous specifications due to the physical properties of liquid crystal displays. The Allen-Bradley 1747-DTAM data table access module can operate in 2 main modes, which are the monitor or modify modes. It features a liquid crystal display that uses a supertwist pneumatic fluid. This display contains 2 lines of 16 characters each and it features LCD backlighting that makes it useful for low-light conditions. The Allen-Bradley 1747-DTAM data table access module also features a keypad, a status indicator and an interconnect cable that provides a link between the module and a processor. The front panel of the Allen-Bradley 1747-DTAM data table access module has a height of 152 millimeters and a width of 139.7 whereas the back case has a height of 127 millimeters, a width of 101.6 millimeters, and a length of 63.5 millimeters.
The 1747- DTAM is a peripheral module intended to be used with SLC 500 processors. This module enables access to data tables within the SLC processor, modify the Central Processing Unit (CPU) operating mode, clear faults and transfer memory.
This module does not support access to Floating Point, String, and ASCII data values within SLC 5/03 OS301 or later processors. Also, for SLC 5/03 processor, when switching to operating mode using the DTAM, keyswitch must be in REM position.
The DTAM module connects to the SLC processor via the 1747-C10 interconnect cable. It may also be used to interface with a 1747-AIC link coupler by connecting the module to the peripheral port of the J2 of the link coupler. Specific for SLC 5/04, the DTAM module may be connected with the use of the same 1747-CP3 via a 1747-KE and 1747-CP3. The DTAM module may also be used to connect to an SLC 5/04 processor by bridging 1747-AIC and 1761-NET-AIC via Belden 9842 communication cable.
This module features a 19 sealed membrane keypad with tactile feedback. Screen display features 16-character x 2-Line, Dot matrix backlit LCD with adjustable contrast. It also has Six (6) selectable language such as English, French, German, Italian, Spanish and Japanese.
The module’s factory default settings are Language set to English, DTAM node address set to Zero (0), Baud Rate @ 19200, Auto-Attach OFF, LCD Backlighting ON and Monitor Override OFF. These parameters are modifiable using the provided keypad components to connect to a specific controller.
