The Allen Bradley Panelivew 1200 are a family of obsolete operator interface terminals. The PanelView 1200 terminals provide a flexible, fast, easy, and low cost operator interface to control a PLC system. They are a pefect replacements for traditional control panels. PanelView 1200 terminals come pre-assembled and are ready for installation in a control panel 19 rack or in a cut out. They are capable of connecting to any Allen-Bradley remote I/O link.

About Panelview 1200

The Allen-Bradley PanelView 1200 product family consists of operator interfaces that provide flexible, out-of-the-box control and monitoring for PLC systems. Their rugged design ensures hassle-free operation in different environments. This family of products offers keypad or touchscreen options and 12-inch amber or color (16 colors) display units with anti-glare protective overlays. The color displays can use a color palette with up to 8 colors at once. They can be mounted on a rack or a panel. The touchscreen models have NEMA 4x enclosures and the enclosure option for the clip-mounted touchscreen terminals is the NEMA 12 enclosure. Series C terminals feature the EPROM chipsets for file backup.

The PanelView 1200 terminals are compatible with various industrial network topologies. Each terminal can communicate through RS-232 connections or the Data Highway Plus network. They seamlessly integrate into programmable logic controller systems that are compatible with the Allen-Bradley 1771 Remote I/O Link network. The PanelView 1200 terminals provide up to 496 alarm pop-ups, 875 local messages, and 496 information pop-up functionalities that can override other screens. These messages and alarms can be created and modified from the PanelBuilder 1200 configuration software. Each PanelView 1200 terminal is equipped with an RS-232 port for downloading and uploading application files and printer connections. The RAM for the application files has a factory-installed battery to maintain power to the memory even when the terminal is powered down.
