The 2711P-K12C4B2 is one of the 1250 Keypad Terminals manufactured by Allen Bradley. It comes with built-in RS-232 and Ethernet communication ports along with a keypad for input purposes and a 12-inch colored display. This module requires an AC type input power and has a 512 MB RAM and a 512 MB Flash memory.

The 2711P-K12C4B2 comes with a modular communication interface that allows operators to add additional communications modules. This terminal is also compatible with memory expansion modules of 256 MB RAM and 512 MB Flash memory. It has a CompactFlash slot that is compatible with a Type 1 CompactFlash card. It has USB ports to connect a mouse, a printer, and a keyboard. The ports comply with standards regarding use in hazardous location environment. Its filed wiring complies with the National Electrical Code. The 2711P-K12C4B2’s modular design allows flexible installation, upgrades, and configuration. Operators can order additional components when there’s a need to upgrade or downgrade the system. Operators can use the keypad of the 2711P-K12C4B2 either with or without gloves, although any other tools or objects may damage the keypad. The function keys of this module’s keypad are programmable. The terminal has 40 function keys, labeled F1 to F20 and K1 to K20.
