This operator terminal is specifically part of the PanelView Plus 600 product category that is installed with a variety of communication interfaces such as Ethernet, RS232 and USB ports. These variety of ports allow this operator terminal to communicate with modern and legacy automation devices specifically, Allen-Bradley’s PLC5 and SLC 500 legacy controllers and MicroLogix, CompactLogix and ControlLogix modern controllers. The RS232 port is mainly used for point-to-point communication and ideal for within the panel communication and data exchange. It comes with adjustable baud rates and may cover short distances only. The USB ports support installation of USB, Keyboard for external input. Additionally, it may be installed with removable flash drive for external storage.
