The 2711P-K12C4D8 is an Allen-Bradley PanelView Plus 6 operator terminal. The PanelView Plus 6 product family are the successor visualization products of PanelView Plus operator terminals.
The 2711P-K12C4D8 allows machine or process monitoring via the 12.1-inch colored display screen, installed with a CCFL backlight with expected operation of 50,000 hours when operated at a minimum of 25 ° C (77 °F). This backlight is field replaceable Backlight. The screen has a display area of 246 x 184 mm (9.7 x 7.2 in.) and resolution of 800 x 600 pixels in 18-bit color graphics. Operator input is initiated via the embedded keypad mainly using the 40 fully programmable function keys composed of K1-K20 and F1-F20 keys. It also has numeric keypad and navigation keys used for modifying values and selecting runtime objects, respectively.
This operator terminal is powered by an external DC supply voltage with acceptable supply range of 18-32VDC. It is powered by an AC power supply with rated range of 100-240 VAC power. It has an internal memory pre-allocated for 512MB Random Access Memory (RAM) and 512 MB Non-Volatile memory with approximately 79MB as free user memory.
The 2711P-K12C4D8 comes with an Ethernet communication interface, compatible for linear topology and ideal for networked architecture. It also has an RS232 communication for peer-to-peer communication. The embedded USB ports may be used for connecting external peripherals.

This port has an RJ45, 10/100Base-T connector for network communication and supports MDI/MDI-X connections. The parameters are downloaded with the application.
