The Allen-Bradley 2711P-T7C4D8K terminal is a 6.5-inch color TFT terminal that belongs to PanelView Plus 6 series of terminals. It can be used as a visualization tool that ensures a high level of performance and efficiency for an industrial control system. It is a Model 700 terminal with 512 MB of RAM and with 512 MB of non-volatile memory as well. It has a DC power input, a color touchscreen, serial communication ports, and external storage facilities. It provides real-time monitoring on the display screen through a web browser. It also supports optional communication modules such as the 2711P-RN20 communication module for extended networking and communication applications.

The 2711P-T7C4D8K PanelView Plus 6 terminal comes with built-in communication ports such as RS-232, Ethernet, and USB ports. All the communication cables which are compatible with Model 700 terminals must be ordered separately. The ControlLogix or CompactLogix controllers are recommended for use with this terminal. It provides advanced diagnostic facilities and repair options. It is supplied with an open style enclosure which must be installed inside a suitable enclosure for more protection. The tools required for mounting the terminal include a slotted screwdriver, a torque wrench, and panel cutout tools. This terminal is integrated with an isolated 24 Volts DC power supply with a maximum of 70 Watts of rated power consumption.
