The IC698PSA100 is a PACSystem RX7i Power Supply module that is manufactured by Emerson Automation, formerly under GE Intelligent Platforms (GE IP). This power supply module mounts to the leftmost slot of any RX7i standard rack, specifically, slot 0. It comes with screw type input terminals, designed for input voltage rages of 85 to 264 VAC (nominal voltage of 120 / 240 VAC) with frequency of 47 to 63 Hz and 100-150VDC (nominal voltage of 125 VDC). External power connections must be made using AWG #16 (1.3 mm2) solid or stranded copper wire with insulation rating of 75°C (167°F). For ground connection, use #12 (3.3 mm2) copper wire with 75°C (167°F) insulation rating. Appropriate termination of GND connections may significantly eliminate if not, reduce system noise. The IC698PSA100 delivers a maximum output power of 100 Watts which is the total for all Three (3) output terminals that delivers 4.875 to 5.25 volts, 0—20 amps, 5.1 VDC, nominal; 11.64 to 12.6 volts,, 0—2 amps, +12 VDC, nominal and –12.60 to –11.64 volts, 0—1 amps, -12 VDC, nominal. This power supply module features a ride through time of 15 ms, minimum and hold-up time of 5 ms, minimum. It is also provided with Proactive overvoltage and overcurrent limits, specifically, 5.7 to 6.7 volts overvoltage protection at +5VDC; 21A at +5 VDC output; 2.5A at +12 VDC output and 3.5A at -12 VDC output. This power supply module has an operating temperature of 0°C to 60°C (32° to 140°F) with isolation rating of 1500 VDC.

The power supply also offers a ride-through of 15 milliseconds without affecting the DC outputs and a hold up time of 5 milliseconds when the DC output drops out.
