The IC200MDD844 module is a discrete mixed input and output module manufactured by GE Fanuc as a member of the Versamax series. It provides a total of 32 I/O points that are separated into 1 group of 16 outputs and 2 other groups of 8 inputs each. All of the output points for this discrete I/O module come in 2 types, the positive logic types and the sourcing types, which means the points can provide DC voltage to the loads. The 32 input points on this module are the positive logic type, which means they can draw current from attached devices and return it to the common wire. The IC200MDD844 module supports negative logic with 12 Volts output, but this requires the module to be upgraded to the IC200MDD844C module or a more recent version.
The GE Fanuc IC200MDD844 discrete mixed I/O module features 0.5 milliseconds of input on and off response time when it is in a basic configuration. For an improved performance in the environments that have switch contact bouncing or excessive interference, the IC200MDD844 module offers support for additional input filters, which alters the response time.
