The GE Fanuc IC200MDD847 mixed I/O module is a product of GE Fanuc. It belongs to the Versamax series with mixed inputs and outputs that supports up to 16 I/O points. Eight of these I/O points are either discrete positive logic input types or sourcing-type input points, while the remaining 8 I/O points are Form A relay type output points. Each of the output points on this module is individually separated on a channel-to-channel basis, but the IC200MDD847 module does not support the use of internal fuses or snubbers to protect each output and input point. Every relay output point can drive a current of 2 Amps. It also supports 8 bits of discrete I/O data. However, the processing has to be executed by a CPU or a Network Interface Unit. The module does not support the thermal derating option.
The IC200MDD847 mixed I/O module receives power from a backplane source rated at 5 Volts, and from that, it consumes 300 milliamps of maximum current. The current it draws from the power supply increases according to the total number of output points activated. When the IC200MDD847 module has attached devices in the on state, it has a minimum current of 4 milliamps and one of 1.5 milliamps when the connected devices are in the off state. The input voltage in the on state ranges from 155 to 264 Volts AC, while the in off state, the voltage ranges from 0 to 40 Volts AC. The approximate measurements of this module are 2.63 x 4.3 x 1.956 inches, but the physical dimensions of the connectors and carriers are not included in these measurements.
