The IC200MDL644 Discrete Input Module is a 5/12 Volts DC Versamax positive/negative logic input module designed by GE Fanuc. The inputs of the module can act as both positive and negative logic inputs. The IC200MDL644 Versamax Discrete Input Module has 4 input groups which have 8 discrete inputs each. It can receive or send current with input devices that can be connected between the common terminal and the input terminal. It is recommended to configure the inputs into negative logic, in order to be compatible with the TTL devices. It also offers input response time configuration facilities and 0 milliseconds, 1.0 millisecond, or 7.0 milliseconds of software configurable filter time.
The IC200MDL644 Discrete Input Module is suitable to use with a wide variety of input devices to bring the data to the system. The intelligent processing of the received data is done by the CPU connected to the module. This module is available with 0 to 15 Volts DC and 5/12 Volts DC of input voltage, 1.8 milliamps of user input current, and 2.4k Ohms of input impedance. The user can connect each group of inputs to either positive or negative logic, and all groups have a common connection. During the installation, make sure to disconnect the field power from the module. The common terminal of the module will be connected to the ground. The IC200MDL644 Discrete Input Module has 4.2 to 15 Volts DC of onsstate voltage and 0 to 2.6 Volts DC of off-stage voltage. The power for module operation is provided by the backplane. The backplane current consumption is a maximum of 140 milliamps at 5 Volts output voltage.
