IC200SET001

The IC200SET001 is a communication module from the VersaMax series. This module is specifically an Ethernet to Serial network module, mainly used to allow a VersaMax Micro and Nano controller to communicate over Ethernet LAN. This module supports standard programming operations such as upload and download of user logic as well as monitoring of logic and I/O data. The IC200SET001 comes with a variety of communication interface specifically, One (1) RJ45 port that is used for Ethernet communication, supporting transmission rate of 10/100 mbps; One (1) RS232 and One (1) RS485 communication interfaces. These serial ports are designed for connection of up to Sixteen (16) devices. These ports allow bridging of communication interfaces, particularly Ethernet SRTP to SNP or Modbus TCP to Modbus Slave. To configure this device, compatible programming software that can be used are VersaPro 2.0 or greater and the Proficy Machine Edition Logic Developer. The IC200SET001 operates when supplied with nominal voltages of 12/24 VDC. This module supports installation to a standard 35 mm DIN rail or direct panel mounting to an enclosure subpanel or flat surfaces. It has dimensions of 36 (W) x 90 (H) x 60 (D) mm. This module supports firmware upgrade operation. Firmware may be downloaded over the serial communication port with the use of Hyper Terminal or via a network host. When downloading the firmware, the ethernet cable must be disconnected and power to the module must be secured. Any interruption during the process of firmware transfer may render the module unresponsive and nonfunctional.

The GE Fanuc IC200SET001 module is a Ethernet to Serial network adapter module that has a power voltage rating 12/24 Volts DC. It lets the Versamax Nano and Micro devices be installed to an Ethernet LAN through the Versamax SE easily. It also allows the users to easily monitor, download, and upload data on the Versamax Nano and Micro controllers. However, the module can operate with a power supply of 24 Volts from the Versamax Series 90-30 family. The power capacity of an operational power supply should not be exceeded.
