Johnson Controls V46 Series valves can regulate water flow in open or closed systems. These modulating valves are pressure-actuated, and direct-acting valve models open when pressure increases. V46 Series valves are often used in water-cooled condensers in refrigeration systems. They can also support applications in ice machines, ice cream machines, and air conditioning units for computer rooms. These valves can regulate the flow of glycol as well as water. The V46 valves can withstand high levels of hydraulic shock and are designed to reduce water hammering and chattering. Their water passages have no close-fitting or sliding parts to obstruct flow.
