The ATS46C11N soft starter by Schneider Electric is designed to manage the starting process of electric motors smoothly. This unit supports a broad operational voltage range, from 208 volts (with a tolerance of -10%) to 500 volts (tolerance of +10%). It has a rated current capacity of 110A, which suits various motor sizes and applications.

For motor power, the ATS46C11N accommodates standard duty operations, offering capacities of up to 30 HP at 208V, 40 HP at 230V, and 75 HP at 460V. For heavy duty scenarios, it manages 25 HP at 208V, 30 HP at 230V, and 60 HP at 460V. The device operates across self-adapting frequencies of 50 and 60 Hz.

To ensure flexibility during startup, this soft starter features an adjustable starting current from 1.5 to 5 times the nominal current and allows starting ramp times to be set between 0.5 seconds and a full 60 seconds, providing tailored acceleration for different setups. Users can also select from various stopping methods, including freewheel, torque ramp (set from 0.5 to 60 seconds), and braked methods.

Protection measures include thermal protection and phase loss detection, essential for maintaining motor safety. Designed with an IP20 enclosure rating, the unit is suitable for open installation environments. Optimal operating conditions are maintained within a temperature range of 0°C to 40°C without derating and can be used effectively at altitudes up to 1000 meters.

Features further include an analog output with a range of 0-20mA and an impedance of 500 ohms, along with a precision of ±3%. Relay outputs include a fault relay consisting of one normally open (NO) and one normally closed (NC) contact, as well as an end of start signal output (one NO), providing comprehensive monitoring capabilities.
