About 1336 Capacitors

The 1336 capacitors series comprises capacitors made by Allen-Bradley specifically for the 1336 drives. These capacitors are suitable for various correlating 1336 drives depending on their frame sizes. They are 2-terminal electrical elements that are designed and intended to preserve energy for the Allen-Bradley 1336 drive modules. The 1336 capacitors are available in a wide range of input voltages that enhance energy storage. Each capacitor is uniquely engineered to save power for a correlating 1336 drive. These capacitors feature 2 different electrical terminals which help to store energy for their respective Allen-Bradley 1336 drives. The capacitors are also essential for the regulation and filtering of the electrical power as well as current flow. They can be used when conducting AC voltage to a different voltage level.

For more efficient performance, the 1336 capacitors feature 2 parallel electrode plates and they are detached by a non-conductive material dielectric device. When voltage exists between the 2 parallel plates on the capacitor, an electric field is created, and this becomes essential for energy storage as well as for producing mechanical force between these plates. However, the capacitors may lose their voltage with time, primarily when they are powered to a specific voltage level so that they can prevent current leakage. Sometimes, current leakage may get to be too much due to an increase in temperature. The users are advised to keep the operating temperature of these capacitors or the drives using these capacitors low to prevent excessive leakage. There is a gadget used in the 1336 capacitors to prevent them from experiencing overvoltage and overcurrents. Additionally, they also come with thermostats which protect them from damage by high temperatures. The users should store these capacitors in an area that is free from corrosion and moisture.
